Events / the one you sell tickets for
You put the Saturday show on sale and it nearly sold out. Two days out the reminder email is sent and some tickets held by people who reserved, but never paid are released and the buyers who would have missed out, get in.
Sell it, scan it on the door and know exactly who came.
From poster to door
A ticket is a QR on a phone. On the night, someone stands at the door with another phone and scans them in. Every scan is one tap and one answer: in, or not on the list.
The room as it fills: paid seats, held seats, and the ones still on sale. Two days out the reminder goes, and the seats nobody confirmed let go by themselves. On the night you scan them in at the door, one tap, one answer.
A reserved seat can be paid at the door in cash; this is a beach bar, not an arena. The reservation cap defaults to four; online, sell as many as you like.
